Reading it as a younger person I found that because I went to school in a different generation than that in the book there were things that didn't seem feasible but reading at the end the author said the law changed after the book was released. It was a quick read and perhaps too rushed and that didn't give me enough time for the characters to fall in love and then particularly at the end made Mike feel like a paedophile rather than a teacher crush to meProduct details

I really enjoyed this book. The decriptions of excitement and risk that the main characters take are not unbelivable or ridiculous. You're not getting a cheap thrill but rather a realistic approach to a student-teacher romance. You would think that the author witnessed this relationship. I found the characters likeable. On one hand I was rooting for Rachel and Mike but at the same time their inner turmoil kept my head out of the clouds. I really like David Belbin's style of writing and I look forward to reading more of his books.
I found this book to be incredibly boring. If you took all the dialogue in the book and put it together it would only take up probably 15 pages. Everything else is paragraph after paragraph of boring or unnecessary back story/things that didn't matter.
